These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Clean Tech Hub website, services, products, courses, events, and any activity at Burke Lake. Clean Tech Hub is operated by 12223155 Canada Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By using our site, purchasing a product, booking a service, or participating in any of our activities, you agree to these Terms.

1. No refunds policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns on any product, course, service, sponsorship, or donation.

If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us. We are happy to help troubleshoot, advise on care, or look into a repair where reasonably possible — but no monetary refund will be issued.

2. Handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces

Every 3D-printed item we produce is unique. Pieces are made in small, hand-finished batches, and color, finish, texture and small details may vary slightly from the photos shown and from piece to piece. These variations are an inherent part of the craft and are not considered defects.

3. Product care & fragility

Our pieces can have delicate edges and parts and require extra care in handling, storage and use. PLA bioplastic softens at elevated temperatures and may deform if exposed to direct sunlight, hot vehicles, or other heat sources.

You assume all responsibility for the proper handling, storage, and use of any product purchased from Clean Tech Hub. We are not liable for damage caused by misuse, accidents, normal wear, heat exposure, or improper care.

4. Burke Lake & on-site activities

Any volunteers, visitors, staff, partners, contractors, or other persons who engage in business with Clean Tech Hub and/or enter Burke Lake property — for planting days, events, tours, photoshoots, or any other purpose — do so entirely at their own risk.

12223155 Canada Inc. / Clean Tech Hub is not responsible for any injuries, illness, accidents, mishaps, lost, broken, damaged, missing or stolen items, or any other loss or harm — direct or indirect — that may occur in connection with our products, services, events, or presence on Burke Lake property.

Participants are responsible for their own safety, appropriate clothing and footwear, personal belongings, and compliance with any on-site instructions.

5. Shipping & delivery

Orders are produced in small, hand-finished batches and typically ship within 5–10 business days of purchase. Custom or made-to-order pieces may take longer; estimated lead times are noted on the product page.

We currently ship within Canada and to select international destinations. Shipping rates and delivery estimates are calculated at checkout based on destination and parcel weight. Tracking is provided where available.

Risk of loss passes to the buyer once the carrier accepts the parcel. We are not responsible for parcels lost, stolen, delayed, damaged in transit, or undeliverable due to incorrect shipping information provided by the buyer. Customs duties, taxes and import fees on international orders are the buyer's responsibility.

If your order arrives visibly damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we'll help troubleshoot or arrange a repair where possible. Refunds are not issued (see Section 1).

6. Product care

By purchasing and using our 3D-printed pieces, you agree to:

• Handle pieces gently — edges and decorative parts can be delicate and may chip or break if dropped, bent, or stressed.
• Keep items away from direct sunlight, hot vehicles, radiators, dishwashers, ovens and any heat source above ~50°C / 122°F. PLA bioplastic softens and deforms with heat.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture; do not submerge or machine-wash. Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and air-dry.
• Store pieces in a cool, dry place, ideally in a dust bag or box.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, perfumes and lotions in direct contact with the surface.

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, heat exposure, improper storage, or normal wear and tear is not covered.

7. Waiver & release of liability

By engaging with Clean Tech Hub — including, without limitation, purchasing products, attending workshops, booking consultations, volunteering, visiting our studio, attending events, or entering Burke Lake property — every customer, client, visitor, volunteer, staff member, contractor, partner, and any accompanying minor or guest (collectively, "Participants") acknowledges and agrees to the following:

• Assumption of risk. Participants voluntarily assume all risks — known and unknown — associated with the activity, including physical injury, illness, allergic reactions, exposure to weather, uneven terrain, tools, wildlife, water, vehicles, third parties, and property damage or loss.
• Release. Participants release, waive, discharge and hold harmless 12223155 Canada Inc. / Clean Tech Hub, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, partners, landowners and agents (the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, costs and damages of any kind arising out of or related to their participation, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• Personal property. Participants are solely responsible for their own belongings. The Released Parties are not responsible for any lost, stolen, broken, damaged or missing items.
• Health & safety. Participants confirm they are physically able to take part, will follow all instructions and posted rules, will wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and will immediately report any unsafe condition or injury.
• Minors. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to this waiver on the minor's behalf.
• Media release. Participants consent to being photographed or filmed at events and to the non-commercial use of such media by Clean Tech Hub for promotional and educational purposes, unless they notify us in writing in advance.
• Governing law. This waiver is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

This waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. By proceeding with any purchase, booking, visit or volunteer activity, Participants confirm they have read, understood and agreed to this waiver.

8. Services & consulting

Consulting, marketing, content creation, and training services are delivered on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee specific business, sales, or audience outcomes. Project scope, deliverables and fees are confirmed in writing before any engagement begins.

9. Sponsorships & donations

Burke Lake sponsorships, memorial dedications and donations fund plantings, materials and ongoing stewardship. Specific tree species, planting locations, timing, and signage may change due to weather, seasonality, site conditions or availability. Sponsorships and donations are non-refundable.

10. Intellectual property

All designs, artwork, photography, written content, course materials and branding on this site are the property of 12223155 Canada Inc. / Clean Tech Hub and may not be copied, reproduced, resold, or redistributed without written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of 12223155 Canada Inc. / Clean Tech Hub for any claim arising out of or relating to our products, services, events or website is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the specific item or service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
